Can somebody please tell me the difference between these designations:
Specialist
Senior specialist
Senior software engineer.
I have recently joined and it shows my designation is senior software engineer. I have seen some people's designation as specialist frontend developer and so on. Will they add a specialist to my designation also? If not, what is the criteria and when can somebody be called a specialist? Larsen & Toubro Capgemini Infosys Wipro Mindtree Cognizant

I’m in FDD but M&a tax is a lot more value add to the M&a process. You also make more usually
True
Transfer to FDD as a tax manager is tough even if the market picks back up.
I almost pulled it off, however market turned and was told I would be on a short list for spring 2023

FDD as a tax manager is real tough. Theres certainly no guarantee. It’s especially hard at the manager level, you don’t know a single thing on the job. Go with M&A tax it pays more than FDD.
I agree FDD is tough, but it’s what has interested me the most ( know a few people in the group, interview process, trainings, etc.). However if I had to be stuck in tax I would prefer m&a tax. I agree that the transition would be easier.
Agreed m&a tax is more value added and forward looking whereas fdd is still backward looking.

M&A tax probably pays better than FDD, if you want to make a career out of it. Seems pretty interesting too, get to structure complex PE deals
M&A tax makes more
But if you don’t like tax then obviously that’s a key factor
