I can’t tell if these suggestions are just plain batshit crazy, or so off the charts crazy that they wrap back around to genius.
I thought about it for a minute and I’m going with the former; no and no.
Please my therapy online shopping since quarantine started has far surpassed my economic impact pre-covid
Or should we tax those that go out to pay for all these unpaid hospital bills??
Pro
Being I am already being taxed to pay for people to stay at home and collect unemployment, my guess is that I am more than even.

Huh?
If I never leave the house, I’m not negatively impacting the roads, the air, or anyone really at all. If one delivery driver can deliver 20 people’s things, then that’s 20 people also off the road and helping the Earth while still spending money. Less driving means less police to monitor them and write tickets and less car accidents means less emergency personnel to handle all the car accidents.
Pay more taxes? We should be paying less....

I do know how the economy works. What I don’t know is your point....I get it, you want people out and about even though the Covid numbers are absolutely skyrocketing everywhere. That is already enough for me not take you seriously, but I guess I’m bored.
You chastised someone above for ordering takeout instead of dining in? That’s idiotic as I already mentioned above. In the midst of a pandemic, do you want 50 people mingling in a restaurant or 50 people ordering takeout or delivery and going back home? The money is the same, the meal is the same, the only difference is less people in contact at once in the restaurant. How is that being privileged? I don’t know what you want me to say, your post makes no sense. Sorry 🤷🏼♂️
What about people in non-Covid times who don’t go out to eat and stay in a lot? Are you saying everyone should have a financial disincentive to not stay home all the time?

Hi! We order delivery/takeout and shop online.

OP, the delivery people work in the family-owned small restaurants. They cook, package, and place on our doorstep for compensation, which they then spend...strengthening the economy.
Serious question: Are you ok?
More importantly, do you have a snowball’s chance in hell of passing this legislation?
