I am currently a Senior Software Engineer(Backend) with 4 YOE. My current CTC is 21LPA (All Fixed) with additional Yearly bonus. I got a call from Google (Pune/Bangalore/ Remote) for Software Engineer - Backend. I have the following doubts but any insights are welcome -
1. Does the lower designation offered make any difference?
2. Kinda ambiguous, but what kind of hike or ballpark pay can I expect?
3. Any similar interviews experiences or focus areas I should prepare for?
Globant India Pvt. Ltd. Hi Globers ! I have an offer from Globant for the role of a BA. While discussing the role with HR pre and post the interviews & offer, I had specifically ask the HR to tag me to Ahmedabad location as that's my hometown and I do not wish to relocate. But she has rolled out the offer for Pune location ane verbally ( isn't giving me in writing ) assured me that the location will be flexible. May I know from the fellow Globers if we have location flexibility or WFH option available? Globant India Pv

If you are starting as an Audit Associate some time from now with Deloitte or any of the big 4, do they expect you to have passed/completed all 4 parts by the time you start? Received the Becker Reimbursement email from the recruiter not too long ago but have yet to start. I’ve seen plenty of people get to Senior at a big 4 firm without the CPA so I am a bit confused in that aspect. Any helpful feedback will be very much appreciated.

I'm sure the interviewer would greatly appreciate it if you weren't. Nothing will come out of it.
It would be more impactful to share your thoughts to anyone else, including on this bowl.
You can be honest but just be careful not to sound like you are complaining or angry…try to be as objective as possible. I’m sure there is a reason for the interviews, otherwise it’s a waste of time for the interviewer and the person leaving.

I was extremely transparent. They appreciated it
I was completely honest, but it wasn’t anything they haven’t heard of (per hr) so it was a waste of everyone’s time IMO.

I have bit my tongue for the two exit interviews I’ve had in my career. When I left GT I did use it as an opportunity to voice a small staffing frustration because I knew 1) there was data backing up what I was saying, 2) it wasn’t something they could hold against me if I ever wanted to come back, and 3) if anything did come of it the people I was closest to at GT would be the ones to benefit from it. I definitely had other things I wanted to say, but if it’s more likely to harm than help you down the road then you’re only hurting yourself
Why would it hurt you? Is it because the firm my take it personally? Do you think, if I throw some people under the bus they will eventually know?
Yes, please participate and provide feedback. At least in my firm, it gets summarized and provided to key leaders for review. Note it’s provided at a trend level so as not to identify any persons identity. I personally find it very insightful and useful to support market adjustments, trends in behavior etc.

State facts and try to keep emotion out of it as best you can. Never know if you might need that bridge to remain unburnt later.
