Should you DCA into VOO/SPY/QQQ/VTI or invest it all at once?

I assume those are example and you are not investing in all of those? Historically all at one has been better 2/3 of the time. That is what I always do but up to you.

like

Yeah OP you can look up the underlying holdings - it will be simpler to focus. I would recommend VTI + QQQ

like

Dump it all in at once. Also those overlap significantly and some are the same. There is no reason to invest in all 4. That is not diversification the way you think it is. I would just put everything into VTI.

like

Doesn’t QQQ have a much greater risk than VOO/VTI though

VTI and chill

Question for fellow attorneys:

I applied to a credit card with Chase a few months ago and within 7 days I was told it was rejected and they would send a letter explaining why.

Chase has recently calling to say it expired (they said it wasn’t rejected but I was told on the recorded line that it was).

Isn’t this against the law (fair credit reporting act)?. I’m not a lawyer so I’d love to hear your thoughts

Curious for some advice…

I currently have a Cap One Venture card. I have had it for a couple of years now but I am interested in upgrading to a Venture X card.

No promotion has been offered to me to upgrade my existing Venture card to a Venture X card.

Should I wait until that promotion is offered to me? Or would it be dumb to apply for a Venture X card separately and a) hold both cards or b) close out the original Venture card.

The amount of froth in this bowl the last week is making me want to throw all my on-chain models out the window and sell my bags. People here posting about “gains are so easy” “I’m going to be rich” “should I sell my 401k to buy ethereum?” “Anyone long API3?” “I bought link at 30 and it dumped to 29, should I sell?”. Froth meter is at an 8/10, just like October 2017.

Living in Van. Previously lived in Toronto. Obviously rent prices are high as is cost of living. Generally go out and spend more often living in a city. Boyfriend and I on good salary but not saving much due to the above. Before we move home to our own country, we’d love to spend a year close to Vancouver where rent is cheaper, temptation is less, to save. A commute to Vancouver 1-2 times a month needs to be possible (his job). That can be a flight if it’s not crazy. Thoughts? Recommendations?

In MBB / T2 market in SEA what would be the net take home ( in USD post tax w/o adjusting to cost of living) relatively to each other . My sense is that if we take Singapore of index of 100% of net income for the level than:
1) Indonesia 70%
2) Malaysia 80%
3) Thailand 75%
4) Philippines 65%

Anyone else getting a little Rolex fatigue? Every year seems to be small incremental changes to watches that I’ll never be able to get due to their distribution model. Don’t get me wrong, I’d still very much love to get a classic model at some point, but it’s just been getting tiring knowing every year it’s small changes to the same watches and I won’t be able to get them anyways. And when they do push the envelope (OPs 2 years ago), they get discontinued 2 years later and pump prices up…
