Idk what’s wrong w me. Maybe a mild bout of depression or burn out. But I don’t feel emotionally resilient anymore and cry very easily especially when mother decides to give me “feedback” and then gets upset if I ask her not to. I’m so self critical these days and just oscillate between trying to be cheery and feeling down/not like myself. Any advice on how to rebalance and stop crying/emotionally reacting? I know my moms in the wrong but I can’t change her defnof tough love. Just my reaction 🤦‍♀️🤷‍♀️

I’m having my first child next month and my sister is coming shortly after the baby is born and staying for an entire month. While well meaning, she can be extremely critical, selfish and patronizing and I really am dreading this already. I can’t tell her not to come because she’s already expended a lot of resources and made arrangements to book her trip but does anyone have tips to minimize the “noise” some toxic family members bring?

Any tips for convincing a baby to crawl before walking? Our 6mo keeps trying to push to stand, and her version of a crawl right now is to push up to her feet and frog hop forwards, but the doc said she needs to crawl first for proper hip development

I’m pregnant, scared, and afraid to tell my partner.

Neither of us want a baby right now but I’m scared terminating the pregnancy would ruin our relationship (i’ve heard stories of some men having resentment about it). At the same time we’re not ready to have a baby and that won’t help either.
