Been losing weight since the start of covid. Not a lot but around 1% of my total weight despite eating/snacking constantly (think ice cream, cheese cake). Anyone in the same situation? Lol

Has anyone seen other (covid round 3) applicants who received large scholarships when on paper it seems they shouldn’t have? I know someone at a M7 who has 2 YOE at a boutique consultancy, 720 GMAT, 3.8~ gpa from a top 70 Ugrad, is a ORM, has weak extracurriculars, and did their entire application in less than a month who not only got in, but received a ~80k scholarship.

I can’t think what might have made admissions think they deserved to get in with a large scholarship. Anyone have any ideas?

Hey everyone - trying to figure out how much my wife and I can afford for our first place. Currently it'd be based off just my income (wife wrapped up RN program right before COVID and we decided to wait until things eased up before she got a position). Given that, we're okay with a high DTI knowing it would come down in a few months when she lands a role. I've seen the 28/36 DTI rules, but I've also heard 43% thrown around. Does anyone have any experience with a high DTI?

I’ve been out of work for a significant amount of time due to Covid decimating my industry. Lots of interviews and a few final rounds. Today I finally got an offer. Pay is the best yet and team seems great. I just can’t help but feel a little disappointed bc it’s not the industry I was in/am passionate about/reason I went to law school. Has anyone seen follow up studies demonstrably proving causation between vaccines and covid rate/ severity reduction? Would you break up with a SO who refuses to get tested despite his roommate having COVID and still plans on seeing vulnerable and unvaxxed family for the holidays? He frequently downplays COVID, criticizes those who take it seriously, and makes up his own rules (“well we weren’t sharing drinks or anything just near each other”) when it comes to exposures and hasn’t told me ab them on many occasions.
