I am 29F and earning 13LPA. I have been working for 4 years of which 3.5 years I had very low pay and close to 0 savings. I have been able to save 6L now.

* Elss funds - 2 (total 1.5L annually)
* Large cap mutual funds - 6 (total 40K sip per month) current portfolio of 4L
* FDs - 2 of 25K each
*Medical insurance - company provided

Can someone advice if this is a good investment plan for future? What can I do better? Do I need another Insurance? Where else to invest?

What people do with their bodies is obviously their right but I personally believe we need a middle ground to truly settle the abortion topic pragmatically as a nation.

Exceptional cases aside (rape, medical emergency, etc), I believe abortions should be allowed up until ~14 weeks. Exceptional cases need to be allowed in an instant regardless of X weeks in.

A fetus is at its complete mercy of the person carrying it. We should deal with this with more a combination of compassion and sense.

Is this good value for insurances:

- 40 year term life insurance $1.25m

- 32 year mortgage cover/payout $340k

- 40 year term unemployment/critical illness cover $4.3k per month for 2 years (if I am off sick for say 18 months, go back and then go off sick for another think the 2 years restarts)

Total policy cover $120 per month, fixed premium for full term. So takes me to about 70 years old.
