Side projects are one-liners on my resume. Should I use a given director title on one if I wasn't really a director? Got the title because we were incorporating and CEO wanted to formalize for the future. But only 3 part time reports, and even then we were all volunteers and very low effort.

Thinking of keeping it for the talking point, but using quotes to show that I know it was silly. The single resume line would read...

- Marketing "director" at XYZ. Did ABC with DEF.

First year at Big4 tax here. I’m performing well but don’t know if I like tax as much as I thought I would. Has anyone done one year of tax and then switched over to audit? If so, how was the transition and did you stay at a first year associate level?
