Passed their first round, failed in the second round. So, giving my insights as an outsider. Behavioral plus case. Company has a friendly culture. Its TC is lower than comparable firms but promotion is faster. Pay raises are decent. I would have considered that. They are strong in pricing, that’s what they are known for. The case interview would likely involve math, and lots of brainstorming and unstructured cases. Good firm, because they said that HR actually reads the resumes. I don’t know if it’s true but at least I didn’t have to optimize my keywords according to algorithms I was trying to guess. Before COVID, SKP was doing annual trips to Germany (their HQ is there), so it would have been a good perk if I were working for them.

PwC, best of luck! Or, “break a leg” (to bring good luck). 🍀

As C1 said... very good at (and lots of) pricing work. That can be a plus or minus depending on your interests and goals.

I work here but not in life sciences. Culture is generally good but you may encounter some poor partners/projects from time to time. Pay is below MBB, S& and the like but above big 4. Cases will focus on go to market strategy / pricing / market access. Not sure of your background, but as a manager you should be familiar with life sciences already. And yes, we do read resumes. Actually consultants will review resumes and select who to interview rather than HR in most cases.

A friend said that I should have been brought in as a senior associate, but I’m not sure if I’m qualified. Did I settle? Or should I be grateful for my current role? I’m leaning toward the latter, but still feel like I had a delayed start

I’m just beginning the lateral hunt and looking to make the move from boutique to big law. Curious what firms, if any, are still notoriously strict about law schools even for a mid-level position. My work experience is spot on, but I graduated from a regional school in the Midwest (top 10% and law review board). Hoping to not waste my time applying to firms that will auto-ding because my school isn’t blue chip.
