For an application angle though, the sanitized version: "On a project in [country/industry], I was inspired by [people/industry/experience] to go into [rare field/entrepreneurial venture]." It doesn't matter if it's true, only if it's interesting; no one is ever going to cite your application essay for anything in the future. Best of luck!
Your angle is top tier consulting, which likely comes with top numbers and good stories as well... You'll be fine. I'd stress fit more than most people - your alma mater gets you your first job and you get the rest. And if you want to start a business, every top school has more alums with money than those who need money, so you'll find plenty of support.
