Congratulations on rolling out an order form that Amazon has had in place for years. Wow, low bar much?
The response is predictable because your original post sought to congratulate the administration for barely tying its shoes. Demand better or we will maintain mediocrity.
I still don’t understand why people are testing en masse to this degree. If you’re sick, stay home. Asymptomatic spread isn’t a thing. This is like any other season where people get sick. Calm TF down. Testing is useless unless you need confirmed results to have access to a therapeutic. 99% of people will be just fine.

I do agree that some basic common sense would go a long way here. Too many people act like they’re fine to do anything as long as they’re just “normal sick.”

It’s the rental car fallacy, you can take the reservation but can you fulfill the reservation? I wouldn’t be cheering on the order form until the kits actually start coming out. Once the kits come out, how many actually work (in sheer numbers they won’t all work). What’s the accuracy of the at home kits? For the 5th person in my house, do I just not get to test them? Also, who’s profiting off these kits? This is becoming a complete racket.

But he didn’t get the test out yet? You’re cheering on a submission form, not the rollout of the actual tests. Also, this is over a year into his presidency. Better late than never but I wouldn’t say this is a crowning achievement. The Trump admin rolled out a vaccine that had never been developed in less time. These are existing tests….

It’s good that this is out now. It’s also legitimate to ask why it wasn’t done sooner when all the messaging from public health officials focused on the importance of testing around the holidays and the potential vaccine mandate from OSHA. But that that case counts have peaked, at least we have a little better inventory for test kits.
