Since deferred revenue is allowed a 1 year deferral for taxes, would you:

1. Ask the client if the 12/31/19 balance was earned on the 2020 financials and the portion not recognized within that 1 year would be the M-1 on the 2020 tax return
OR
2. Ask the client if the 12/31/20 balance will be earned within 1 year and the portion estimated to not be recognized within 1 year would be the M-1 on the 2020 tax return
OR

But you should have that data already, and you should also be considering any deferred revenue that was previously recognized for tax purposes and was recognized for book purposes in the current year. BOY - EOY approach doesn’t necessarily work for this adjustment.

Other.

This should be a contract by contract determination. You shouldn’t just take the entire TB account balance and treat it one way or the other. You need to obtain the schedule that shows the contract by contract deferred revenue (the total of which should tie to the TB account balance).

Also please discuss with your manager. It can be fairly complicated and you might end up inadvertently adopting (or erroneously changing) a method which can be a costly fix down the road.

I’m seeing lots of posts about really bad losses. If you trade you’re going to lose money - hopefully not all the time, but many positions will be mistakes. But you need a process to find ideas and manage positions. Two books you should read are “The New Trading for a Livinng” and “The Laws of Trading.” Both look at psychology, process, and risk in different ways that can help you work out your own process. The next 18 months will be much harder than the last 18 - time to start learning.

Any SAP analytics cloud developer here? Quick query, client wants a column root causes ..now this column is not available in S/4..now the S/4 team is not cooperative enough.

My leads suggested SAC has comments option. However comments are not going to help users either. Because it will not show graphically which root causes contribute the most.

So my question is now, does SAC have an in built excel option which would allow users to enter root causes across materials and then SAC refresh this

Hi everyone,
I want to learn Salesforce Tableau CRM (formerly known as Einstein Analytics) and switch to a different organisation. In my current company stuck in a project where there's no learning scope, no growth and work culture is toxic. Now I'm only going through Trailhead, YouTube playlist videos and practicing hands on in my free personal org. Are these enough to crack interviews or not? I don't have real-time project experience.

Is it me or does the newer generation value more intangible things that aren’t easily measured like work-life balance, fulfillment and purpose in work. Which makes it difficult for firms because that’s not something that is easily measured. Also, this is why there is “value” in crypto, NFTs and the metaverse. It’s a clash of the generations that value tangible things like money, houses, cars and one that values time, experiences, personal online image. Thoughts?
