Hello everyone,
I have 6 years of exp in IT
Recently I got offer from Amdocs, From Naukri.com, I was applying as a mssql developer,
In interview also they asked regarding sql concepts.
But I am not clear about the job profile,
As they just scheduled the interview directly and it happened.
Will after joining they will move me to any in house tech, or the job will be relevant with my profile only.
I mean i am switching only to work on good tech. Dont want to get stuck again in in-house technology.

I have a colleague who left consulting to go to med school. Anything is possible!
I’m considering this! Are they happier?
After 2 years in public, I had a friend that went into nursing. She said it plays on similar personalities as with nursing you have to be able to multitask and keep track of things (she is specifically in the OR, so a lot of knowing the tools and counting the rags used, etc). However, in Texas anyway a few of my nursing friends were furloughed from their hospitals because nobody is going to them unless it’s corona, so not even nurses are immune from a pandemic.
Sorry to hear about your friends. OP, if you’re considering the transition because you think nursing is more recession-proof, that’s not necessarily true.
I actually considered it because I want to work at a health system and I think it would prove beneficial but I hate blood, really any sort of bodily fluid.
Less blood or fluid but not NO blood or fluid.
This is more for interests rather than money/recession/etc. I know no job is recession proof

My friend left consulting for med school. He has done very well and is a contributor for WaPo and NYT while practicing at one of the best hospitals in the nation. He has the perfect combination of medical expertise and the ability to express himself clearly.
