What’s something you absolutely hate that your partner does but can’t seem to come to bring it up?
Anyone have a recruiter reach out to you, get your resume and such via email and submit to a job and then just disappear? I am working with a different recruiter now and I know my resume was submitted to a job but I’m a little perturbed that this person has not been speaking with me and we haven’t had a verbal conversation. I am afraid I made a huge mistake in using them and it was only for one job but I don’t want to lose out on an opportunity because they are in the wind…
I have 6+ years of experience in Data Engineering and looking out for a change. Please refer me if you have any relevant openings in your organization. LWD: 8th May 2020
Mofo: any input on experience? Considering going over for tech work. Have heard great things but made one awful move and honestly scared of another biglaw nightmare.

How was suicide squad?
I haven’t done freelance work in while, since I got burned by a “friend” of a friend. I just had someone who is a gamer with 4000 subscribers ask me to update his profile picture/mostly the text in his name/title (he likes his current picture). How do I even charge for that and make sure I get paid?
Please help me understand something. I see posts where someone junior is offered a much more senior role, without experience. I don’t understand how an individual can be successful in a role that is often 2+ levels above their current one. And how does an employer offer such a role to someone without any experience at near that level? Example: “I’m a Sr. Analyst with 3 YOE and been offered a Director’s role at XYZ”. Never managed a team, much less an entire project or group. What am I missing?
The people I worked with in Paytm payments was worst. To people who are joining this organisation. Please don't join there is no work life balance. They don't care about employees they want only work. My manager , senior tech lead, tech lead everyone left. Many are on paper and lot of work pressure
I just saw a stat on SHRM that best in class orgs have $1,100 per employee budget for HR (including all HR FTE’s, systems, etc) this seems unreal. Is anyone willing to share how they develop their HR budget? And what’s included?
Can the school breathalyze the students before the enter Prom? No notice was provided to the parents. But there’s a rumor that they will be doing this. This is in California.
Yesterday I received an offer from AWS for a Senior Engagement Manager. TC is $271k. The base is $180k with 73 RSU. The JD appears to be L6. How much more can I ask them for in negotiating? Does this group know what the target should be on the range on thr L6 within AWS?
Is experience in big4 (pwc for example) really more valuable than other (bdo for exemple) ?
