I find writing it out to be very helpful. Words don’t have to pour out verbally, journaling helps me keep my thoughts together as well. If it helps, make a voice recording if it feels more like speaking because just getting it out instead of internalizing does wonders for me

This will sound silly, but I will video record myself saying things- speaking about what I need to. It lets me get through the emotions. And I find playing it back and watching it- it’s like hearing a friend talk and you can be more objective. Like wow, am I really being that hard on myself? Or wow... I really do feel that way.

I swear - I did this too! ☺️ and, yes - I did this out of no real intention but it helped like I can’t even explain! P.S.: I used to think I was crazy but it helped so just kept doing it to revise and reframe my thoughts and no longer felt that I had heavy emotions withheld

Not single but I have different friends in different groups so I try to not always be a downer to one friend and share with different friends! Or my mom sometimes. Am here if you need to talk just DM me in a good listener. Hang in there!

I’ve been there and know the pain and that talking to therapist is not the same as what you had. Make new friends. Keep journaling. When you “Speak up”, don’t worry about how others would perceive you. Just keep opening up so you’re more complete and you’ll make new relationships

Why do people act like the only 2 options are "COVID is here to stay get used to it with 0 precautions" and "hide under your bed until it's gone in 2026 one day"? Can we not fall somewhere in the middle with our approach (assuming you're not immunocompromised or have a baby around or something)

Hi all, I’m currently a risk consultant (~6 months) within financial services at PwC and very interested in IB for its work around strategy and finance. I was wondering if anyone can offer any insight on whether I should try and switch now while I’m early in my career (graduated in 2020) or should I aim to get into IB after MBA in 4-5 years? Thanks!
