I was on the course with my mentor this week for a business related event. All the men continually thought we were the cart girls and asked us to fetch them things despite being in a regular golf cart and wearing our (not beverage or course) company polos. We had 300 years of slavery, 100 years of Jim Crow, and 50 years of mass incarceration. The original US Constitution said that black people were 3/5ths of human beings.
