I recently joined company A on an H1b. Because of the immigration team's mistakes, we had to re-file and it took almost 4months for me to join from the date of the offer. As this was getting dragged on, I interviewed at two companies (let's call them Company B and C). After I started at company A, I received offers from both of them with 30% more TC. If I accept one of these offers, that H1b transfer will take another 2months. Will resigning from A burn the bridges? How should I handle this?

I’m interviewing for a solutions architect role and I was invited for a 2nd phone interview. Is this standard practice or is it like Google when the 1st interview has mixed results and they need another one to say go/no go?

I started at a new firm this year in January. I had a billable goal that was given to me mid year of around 1750 house for the year. I am nowhere near that and definitely will not meet the goal. I had so many non billable hours I was forced to take when I first came in. I worked my ass off in busy season. At my previous firm I never fell short of hours as it was B4. This firm is mid sized and more focused on WLB. My question is how bad do you think this will affect my comp??

What is a ideal package for a RPA Business Analyst with 7YOE

Ladies, love to hear your thoughts. I’m in my late 20’s with a handful of close gfs (most of them live far) but I have a history of losing girlfriends. I’m self aware to a fault and am very supportive/responsive but other than my core group, it’s hard for me to keep gfs around other than 6 month span. Would love everyone’s thoughts! Which of these two options would you pick if your goal is to buy and hold for appreciation purposes given these are in a very hot market. Both same lot size.

Option 1:
- $175k lot located on very busy street but across the street from new $700k townhomes and restaurants

Option 2:
- $250k 3 bed/1 bath fixer upper located at end of dead end street, houses on street all fixer uppers, located down the street from Option 1 (so also near new builds and restaurants)

We own a rental property that has appreciated quite a bit and have the opportunity to do a 30-yr cash out refi at 75% LTV that would leave us with about $200,000 at the end of the deal. Rent currently wouldn’t cover the costs and we’d need to deploy the cash and earn about $750/mo to break even. We’d ideally like to use the money to invest in other property and syndicates. Seem like a good idea? Not sure if we are over leveraging ourselves and it’s worth the risk.

Is RE equity building overrated? I have been doing deep analysis only to find out that bank mortgage interest makes a deep cut into whatever equity I think I am building by renting out properties. In NYC, saw several properties structured as condops. It has more lenient rules about subletting than co-ops and no board approval when transacting. Granted it’s building by building, but would someone recommend condop over co-op in general? Do they appreciate the same as condos?

Hi, need some advice because very new investor when it comes to owning personally versus LLC. Currently own my home and planning to purchase two lots of land sooner rather than later. With three real estate assets under my arm, getting a little worried about having them all under my personal name. Should i create an LLC and purchase the lots under that name? Should i transfer my first home?

How should we structure the deal? What would you want for bringing $80k to a deal?

We would do an equitable split? Obviously they'd get 50%+ of rent but do they get more rent up front?

She’s a section 8 tenant, so I’m curious about the right steps to follow. How do I go about drafting a leasing agreement? She said her case worker said her new voucher goes into effect November 1st.
