Even though this group may be biased, I need to ask. I am having a hard time picking between med school and business school. I have worked as an analyst for two years but see no fulfillment in my job. I know I could get into IB or equity research but I still have no real interest in it. But I also have zero experience in the medical field. I was a finance major and would be doing a complete 180, but the idea of medicine sounds so much more fulfilling than any career in finance. Has anyone successfully lowered their ER bill? I had an ER visit last year - X Ray, Urology, no surgery, basically went there to be told to take ibuprofen. Got a bill totalling $2.5K after insurance. I have a low cost medical insurance with the $2.5K deductible and didn't go to the doctor much last year, so they ended up charging to the max. Talked with the hospital and insurance, got the itemized statement, but no help. Please share your wisdom with this clueless foreigner, TIA 😭
