Slalom consultants, do you have to live in one of their main locations, or can you WFH in any city you choose? I live in a smaller town and want to stay.

Depends a lot on the project I’m on, client facetime requirements, and team structure. Could be 5 days or zero. Personally I’m rarely in the office, typically Home or at client site. Honestly if you want to live in a remote area, working for a bigger firm in a national practice with a Mon-Thurs travel schedule might make more sense.

@SC1, that's what I do now. Travel M-R. Trying to stay home more but enjoy consulting work (and pay 😆).

It’s a local model so generally you should be a commutable distance from an office. If you are something like a developer or an XD designer, there may be opportunity to work partially remote, but you would still need to “come home” to the office and or client site for key meetings.

For NYC slalom, are clients actually in the city or more so the tri-state area

Both, NYC has grown so much recently I wouldn’t be surprised if they split the Office in the near future.

@SC1, how often are you in the local office?

Half my clients in the NY office have been pretty set onsite 5 days a week, other half were flexible to the point that I could basically work from wherever I wanted to each day. It’s a pretty mixed bag here, and clients range a good bit over the area, not just NYC

Hi all, I realize this isn’t a medical community but would still appreciate insights. I started Trintillix for anxiety / depression but ultimately insurance wouldn’t cover it. I switched to Wellbutrin and didn’t feel anything. I also now need to get off Wellbutrin because of some other medical things. What successes have people had for anxiety / depression? I have a history of eating disorders so really won’t take anything that might make you gain weight. Realize this is a tall order, but TIA.
