Senior Manager with 126k base? How is this possible? I am hoping to get to that in another 2 years time (I am 1 year out of college).
Leave. You gotta company hop at some point to get the big pay bump
I’m a senior... at EY making 125...
It's bc you live in Canuck land. But ouch, that's low.
Damn! US D1 (SM1) is USD 193K. You are getting shortchanged my friend.
US in general pays higher, and taxes less, than pretty much every other country. So as much as it may suck for you, you can't really compare your salary to US ones. You could always move south and reap the benefits. Otherwise, yah, you're pay is going to be a lot less than what you often times see on here
This sounds awful
That feels low even for Toronto standard :/
2017 range shows as 122k to 183k for SM at EY. I know I'm at the low end but figured it's because I'm new to the role and grew up at the firm since graduating uni with no specific tech skillset. But now I'm thinking I got to get out.
That is insanely low... didn’t even know that salary is possible for an SM...
You are between 45 and 60k underpaid based on pay scales in US.
BUT for Canada maybe its normal?
I have a similar profile and make $205k base with Accenture.
You think it's worth trying for a big bump now before the next pay cycle or just take off with my almost 12 years consulting experience at a big 4 and see what's out there. And yes remember I'm in Canada.
Is that 126K C$?
Yes cad dollars
Looking to hear from any fellow Canucks
Leave EY asap bro
EY Parthenon is paying MBA hires $180k base (with barely a bonus but still)...
