Small city that's fairly boring with a big new build house or big city with lots of fun things in a condo + private rooftop? Both will cost me about the same and new job is fully remote so I can go to either.

This totally depends on your family situation. I’d pick the city, but I don’t have—and made a conscious choice never to have—kids. So a lot of space, schools, etc., has never been an issue for me.

For me city, kids or no kids. Need to be where the action is (and my clients, who are mostly PE)

Location location location! I'd pick the less boring location if schools are not a factor. Think about your 5-year plan too and where you want to be then.

Living alone in a city now and I'd rather move back to my small town where at least I have family/old friends. If I had a girlfriend it'd would be a different story though.
