An agency has more to gain by making everyone staying at the company feel included, welcome and respected then to make the going away party all about the person going away.

My analyst is late nearly every day we work in person (3 days pw). Blames traffic or dials in to morning meetings. They started during covid so I just don’t think that they understand part of having a job is that you leave sufficiently early for work to control those things. For reference they don’t live particularly far from office (30-40 min commute). How do I land this message without sounding like a boomer who doesn’t recognise the benefits of hybrid..
