I'm currently in Tech Sales. However, I want to work with FAANG; it's literally my greatest dream. I have a UX Design Cert from General Assembly that I earned last year.
After months of applications and rejections, I left and got into tech sales because I knew I'd easily get a job and bills had to be paid.
I think I failed to get jobs because of a lack of visual design skills (my specialties were in project management and user research), and weak portfolio. What should I do?

Laid off. Wha wha. Anyone hiring out there?
Today I’m feeling very “eeeh” about my job...
How is working at pathway group?

I would contact the CDs you worked with and ask them about it. They might help you contact the agency.
THAT BEING SAID
Have you met advertising recruiters? Put it in your book, they’ll never look it up anyway. You could honestly put Fearless Girl, Old Spice and It’s A Tide Ad in there and they’d never take 30 seconds to google it.

I’d say get in contact with your CD’s and do it as a group. Power in numbers.
Put it in your book, don’t credit the guys that took it from you
Definitely talk to the agency. I don’t know how small the place is but is it possible it’s an honest mistake? I was once credited for something I didn’t work on that won an award and I contacted them to credit the rightful writer. Total honest mistake on their end as I had worked on that account at the same time, just not that particular project. Agencies aren’t great at record keeping.
On the other hand, I once came up with an idea that didn’t get produced for several years, then I saw it in the press. I talked to the CD to remind him where it came from (knowing no one remembered it was me) and he was totally fine putting my name on it. He was like, that’s right! It was you! I also had the proof as back up if it came to that. Thankfully, I didn’t have to pull that out.
Best of luck getting it resolved. I’m rooting for you!

Put it on your site, of course. The thing I’d be more concerned about it getting the agency to credit you publicly. Speak to someone senior at the agency, or do it via the CDs who also got laid off. But you should have your name on it anywhere it is promoted so it’s on record. Especially if it goes on to win something. It’s going to be harder to prove down the track.
Agree with asking your CDs. I’d put it in my book with a note that it was produced after you left, but you were responsible for X.
I saw an idea of mine win at Cannes after I was laid off, with no credit to me. I contacted the CD and it was resolved, so I was able to get my trophies and name in the credits.
