I honestly think the “silent majority” this November are going to be people like me that voted for Trump in 2016 but will end up being a big reason he is voted out of office this time around. Biggest reason for me is the absolute lack of leadership and accountability.

Why is it not easy for GOP to delay or cancel electoral certification on January 6th?

You got enough GOP congressmen and in my count, at least one GOP senator promising to block. Can they do this very easily and let the state delegation retain Trump and Pence? This seems a very real possibility to me at this point. I can never seem to under estimate GOP at this sort of thing.

I honestly struggle with the politics of Afghanistan. It does appear that after 20 years we leave and within months it goes back to very similar or on its way. It’s not the US job to be the world police we did try to build coalitions and fail at the end of the day unless we’re willing to keep troops there forever which most Americans don’t want to I am not sure what the right thing to do is.
