Seems fine lol. I’m not sure why insurance would even care. I take my kids karting all the time.

Why in the hell does your health insurance provider know about this? That seems crazy.

Any way to incept the go-kart idea into a partner’s head? As long as they think they came up with it, HR can’t get pissy with you.

Few weeks later I got to know that 2 of the companies that I rejected, transitioned to permanent WFH model as they are not getting candidates, and my friend got the job without having to change cities.

Can we be honest for a second? No one has a clear policy for how we should be billing our time and no one wants to ask. I’ve heard perspectives ranging from, “a good faith estimate at the end of the week is sufficient” to “you need to have a timer going at all times and if you don’t turn it off when you pee, you’re committing an ethical violation”... also, “Bill anything that moves the deal forward” vs. “You can’t bill for collating documents. That’s not legal work.”
