As per my knowledge EPF interest is calculated month on month basis however it is credited at end of the financial year.

What if I transfer the EPF amount to other companies PF account will I be getting the whole year’s interest on the amount that is transferred at end of the financial year or else will it be on pro rata basis?

Here PF accounts are in two different trusts

California tax question. I moved overseas in November 2020 establishing a rental agreement in a different country. I sold my California registered car in May 2021 (my ONLY California asset). In total, I spent ~36 days in California during 2021. I use my mother's California house as an address to receive packages and letters. I don't intend to return to California, as I want to buy a house in Texas. I have a potential $70,000 CA tax bill due to capital gains from a long-term investment.

What’s your recommendation if my new 401k does not accept pension rollover? I think the only 2 roll over options left are traditional/Roth IRA, right? If I first roll over the pension to traditional IRA, and then immediately roll over the traditional IRA to my new 401k, will I still trigger the pro rata rule when I do backdoor Roth in the future? Had my 401k in all VINIX last year, and it served me well. I rebalanced to 20% large cap, 20% mid cap, 20% small cap, 20% Int’l, and 20% bonds. The Int’l diversification is pulling me down significantly. Would you shift that 20% back to large cap or just say it will payoff later to diversify? My IRA is pretty tech heavy, so trying to be mindful.
