Hi, My joining is on 12th December. When can I expect Onboarding details mail and stuff?
I have been told that it arrives two days before joining.
I have to relocate to join and have been told by the team that travel desk will contact and arrange for that.
Kindly provide info on this.
Thanks in advance!

My father has a Jaeger-Lecoultre that my grandfather wore every day for decades. My uncle got it in the inheritance, sent it to the factory to be somewhat restored and then gave it to my father for his 50th birthday. It looks pretty beat up still, so much so that when his hotel room was broken into the thieves didn’t take it, but I know it’s one of his most prized possessions. All this to say, get something nice, live a long life and wear cool watches every day.
Love this story especially that your uncle shared in the heirloom. Do you have any pics of the jlc?
Here is my thought and I’m sure I’ll get some flak on this.
“...you merely take care of it for the next generation” - Look, if the next generation wants to walk around flexing blings, they better earn it.
Should splurge on myself. We now know it’s a boy so figured this could be his 18th birthday/graduation gift. First thoughts are on the speedy pro (own a Rolex, JLC and Hamilton). Curious as to others approach on gifting heirlooms...
Congrats!!
A pretty cool watch would be the upcoming Apollo 11 Speedy anniversary. I find it a gorgeous watch and it looks like it could be a birth year for your kid... pretty unique!
Just splurge on yourself, don’t use the gift/heirloom to justify the splurging 😉. And I certainly won’t be giving my kids anything that extravagant until they are responsible working adults.
The Luxury Watch Bowl is 100% inclusive and does not tolerate racially charged comments. D1, please leave this Bowl, as it is obviously not a good fit for you.
The value of the heirloom watch to the heir is usually the fact that they saw it on their father’s wrist all day, everyday. It should be beat up and have a story “written” on it. Get the watch for yourself and choose something that can withstand the test of time.
