Any Private Organization will go for lay-off if they are not generating profit(Even Netflix). Remember, all Tech Giants today we see were once a startup.
Why I preferred StartUp --> because developing from scratch is not possible in most organizations but StartUp and I preferred "learning and Money" more than "WLB and stability" at this age. If the question will be asked after 5 years from now, I may have preferred less salary and More WLB, but that is not the scenario right now.

Not necessarily health related. My husband and I have been married for 14 years. Both in mid to late 30s. We got married young without a lot of plans and now my clock is ticking we've been thinking about having kids. But neither of us really wants to have any although wouldn't mind having one if it happens. Just wanted to hear from both parents and couples with no kids. I’ve been working for big 4 firm for 3yrs now w barely any raise in sight. My performance increased tremendously but for whatever reason I got the same increase this yr as my first yr w the firm (and my increase was only cost of living abt 3%) Looking elsewhere but I feel undervalued already and have an overall dismal view of everything. Can’t save enough to buy a home because I’m paying off medical bills, but luckily family is helping. (to be cont)

I think I’m now old and have aged out of being fun. 27 (M) and not really sure what I’m “supposed” to be doing. I have a great job and got in the best shape of my life but am now starting to get the “old” jokes from friends and don’t currently have a girlfriend and just feel like I’m coasting. I just keep working on myself and improving every year with no end goal in mind.
