Respond how you detailed and attach the thread where you sent the email, Bcc their manager to it.
Switch projects ASAP - tell your career coach / people manager.
It's sounds 1 person is driving the issue - there are way more people that would love to support you.
The hardest part is letting people know you need help - but once you do I think you'll be surprised with how much people are willing to help

I quit a job after 7 months and then spent about 6 months learning new skills for a career change. Took me about 3 months to find a job after learning new skills. You should be fine in this hot market 🧐.
I understand your struggle when working with someone like this. It’s hard especially in consulting to provide upward feedback if the individual isn’t receptive to it. In my experience, they tend to deflect the blame and talk about how you could have done better instead. That being said, if you like the job (other than working with this manager), you should try to talk to your coach or mentor (if you have one) and ask them to help you navigate the dynamics. Maybe they can talk to your manager or your managers manager or help pull you off the project.
If you just don’t like the job overall and switching to a different project won’t help, there’s nothing wrong with quitting. The job market is at a high right now so quitting probably wouldn’t hurt you. If future employers ask, it’s how you spin the story. If you want maximize your time at your current firm, use up your vacation days prior to quitting
Glad to help. Maybe try seeing if you can take some vacation time to clear your mind before deciding to quit or not. Since you do like job, I’d try talking to the career coach first and make sure to bring up concrete examples of how you submitted X work on time and the manager didn’t review it. That’ll help your case in proving that the manager is managing the project poorly.
If that doesn’t work and no one is there to support you, it may be reflective of the firm culture and at that time you’ll have to decide if this is the type of place you want to work at.
I will say the good and bad thing about consulting is that we rotate teams so often and it’s like playing roulette. It’s very painful to be placed on a bad project/bad team but the good part is it’s not permanent.
Micromanager that doesn't review the work as an interesting combination
My former boss insisted that I get her approval on emails I sent to anybody period and also insisted I sent her all my work.
In regards to them not reviewing the work bcc their supervisor so they know it’s not your fault. That’s why they’re freaking out trying to find scapegoats it sounds like.
