So, do I have to wait 3 days for settlement after selling a security in Roth or can I buy another immediately?

Settlement is two days now , and you should be allowed to buy another security

You should be able to buy immediately.

Check your broker documents. Some require full settlement, some allow "limited margin" to make overnight trades, but will still keep you from day trading.

I’m sorry somebody laughed. It’s a legitimate question that I don’t quite understand the origins of either.

Anyone have advice for folks inheriting expensive properties? Will be inheriting a couple VHCOL properties (some of the most desirable land/neighborhoods in the city) mortgage free, in the ballpark of $6-7m worth. I’m thinking lump sump investing into securities may make my worth much higher in the future compare to just keeping some properties.

A gentle note: Many people posting here are not recruiters nor career counselors. I am happy to provide a referral to a role that you may be interested in, but I don't have the expertise (nor the time tbh) to sort through all of my company's listings to find the right one(s) for you. If I post a link to my company's career page, you should do your own legwork and search for the roles you want and then ask me to refer you to those roles.

Hi there - new to the bowl. For those that have pretty large savings/investment account balances and net worths north of 300k or even 1MM under the age of 35, can I ask how it is you’re accumulating? I have a 90k salary, living in NYC. Trying to max out retirement accounts, net worth of approx. 150K+. There isn’t much room for extra savings after-taxes and expenses etc. Is my most important goal to seek a large pay increase? I don’t see how else I can accumulate as exponentially as others. TIA.
