Hi Fishes, Right now I'm bursting my brains to make a decision which company to join and request your help. I have an offer from tcs for 13.5LPA and nagarro for 18LPA both for the role of associate project manager. I have been a lead at infosys with 8yoe. Keeping in mind that this is the first time i will be a manager please suggest which company is best to learn and secure as the global recession has already begun. What are you trying to exit to? Large companies move on their own timeline - some can speed things up but most likely it’ll take longer than you’d expect. I wouldn’t waste PTO that you’ll want to cash out later. Just find 30-60 minute time slots when you can, or take PTO for a day or two and schedule a bunch of stuff for that day.

Generally looking at big tech, and some startups here and there. 100% agreed that companies have their own timeline. I literally meant that I don’t even find enough time and energy to do the networking and applying meaningfully
Save the jobs you’re interested in on LinkedIn. Wait until the weekend / early morning and block out 30 mins or an hour to apply to your saved jobs. I found that by mindlessly scrolling at night for jobs (instead of looking at instagram or whatever), I was able to do half of the work of finding the openings; then, when I had mental bandwidth, I spent time on the weekends or first thing in the morning applying. I didn’t take time off other than for interviews… and even then, not too much time (I would just block my calendar and go to the zoom interview and hop back online).
Maximize your weekends / evenings / early mornings. You’ll have to cut out some socialization but it’ll be worth it.
