So guys, what are we doing about these firms that aren’t considering some type of hybrid/wfh model? I’m in my medium sized state’s version of big law. Boss just had a chat with me and said they’re more old school and likes associates to be in the office. (I’m a few months in so I don’t want to jump ship just yet).

Has anyone here participated in the year long remote year program? My company is fully remote in the US and is in general supportive of me going but concerned about local and international tax liability. Remote year doesn’t share tax advice and our HR team is small. Curious to hear from people at companies who have done it before and if there were any issues from a tax or payroll perspective. Trying to get the formal approval from my company before officially signing up, advice welcome!

My company has given a choice on WFO and WFH . Few of my colleagues and my Manager are going to office but I have opted for WFH. I feel I am getting alienated and not able to bond with team. During Teams call they crack jokes and have a camaraderie which I miss. Also all of them log off by 6 PM as they return from office but I need to log in till 8 PM for client calls. Will all this impact me in the long run?
