It is astonish the kind of relationship advice that most people post here. Aside from one or other trying to be empathetic most people post stuff like “yeah you should just break up/divorce”. I’m always flabbergasted by the lack of respect for third party feelings and history. Here’s my advice to literally everyone in those threads. Go to therapy. Because you are either here seeking validation or dumping your own resentments into others.

My wife often calls me by 5:45/6 to ask where I am if I’m not headed home yet. Sometimes she’s stressed with kids/dogs/dinner and really wants me home. This really throws off my concentration because it makes me feel rushed. Like many practices sometimes I’m out at 5:30, other times it’s much later. Just depends and is unpredictable.
