Personally, I would take the offer to your current employer and see if they will match it.

In that case, I would not give the name of the new firm but instead indicate that while you like working here and were not looking for a new job, another firm has pursued you and made you an offer you can’t refuse. Explain how much you enjoyed working everyone and that this decision is purely financial and that you hope they will understand and that you intend to clean up your files before you go etc.

Bruh, keep your two week notice letter simple. Don't complicate it. At most, thank them for the opportunity and say that you're moving on with another opportunity.

Oh and also that you're going to help transition matters. Typical notice period stuff. Congrats on the new job.

It’s probably too late, but a part of me wants to tell you don’t do it. If you find a firm you love, don’t leave. So many firms are hell holes and the extra money isn’t worth it.

Need some advice on a job offer for Salesforce Admin role at a midsize tech company. I have 7+ years experience as an admin and live in a LCOL area.

$98k base
$30k RSUs
5% bonus

They are holding firm on this comp package and will not upgrade to senior. I think this is low with my years of experience. Any thoughts? Thanks!

My company promoted someone and didn’t give them a raise, citing raises they gave last year.

This is obviously idiotic of our management. The person took the promotion, and found a new job and left without giving 2 weeks notice. Stranded multiple projects for a new product of ours and our management is scrambling to help the clients and find someone to backfill his role.

I’ve never been more proud of a coworker. Management deserves this and deserves to fail.

I'm looking to find a job like the Forward Deployed Engineer role Palantir Technologies in the UK.

I have become hooked on finding a job that involves solving the kinds of problems they presented during their interviews. Although I got to the final round my performance anxiety got the better of me (I think I wanted the job a bit too much...). I will reapply after working in a similar company.

Is it "deep tech" / "data science" or "smart enterprise" that they're doing? Any advice welcome.

Any tips on negotiating with multiple adverse parties? I represent the plaintiffs. Multiple defendants with varying degrees of liability. Mediation unsuccessful because they’re all arguing over who owes what. Now I’m back negotiating with all of them individually and all have expressed interest in settling. Besides the obvious (just filing suit) what would be some strategies to get them all to agree to a settlement? Negotiate with each individually?

Filed a complaint in early May, they filed a motion to dismiss timely, and I responded in a timely fashion as well. During my research on the motion to dismiss I realize that I had cited a section of the statute that I now feel applies less than a different section.

What is my duty to the court? I do feel that both sections of the statute can likely apply, and admittedly the section that applies better I feel has a lower burden of proof.
