after successfull/good jpmc software engineer interview , jpmc recruiter says they are waiting on requisition that they will allocate for me .. does that mean they are preparing my offer ?.. I haven’t had any verbal offer discussions yet .. just that after interviews recruiter mentioned interview feedback was good and they are considering for both 602 and 603 ( but I said I’m only interested in 603)

I recently got a fully remote offer from US Bank and need help understanding it/ my leverage. I plan on moving to a HCOL city.
Base 135
15% bonus
Long Term Incentive 7
TC ~160k
4YOE
Few questions I had:
1. How many rounds of negotiation can I expect? I had my first call with the hiring manager last week and he wants to wrap things up this coming week.
2. I’m guessing I’m under the 14 grade. Anyone have the range for a HCOL city?
3. What other benefits should I discuss?
Received a Doordash s&o take home assessment. It is an excel data set. I was told I can use whatever tool to do analysis. would I be looked positively if I chose tableau or sql instead of excel? Secondly, I was told I can choose the format for the submission, I.e doc, ppt etc. I’ve always defaulted to ppt, but what’s the best format?DoorDash
You will burn the bridge. Let’s start there. Good news is that the bridge is very new. Unless you plan to reapply in next 6 months, you should be fine
If you are 100% sure about accepting the new offer and nothing will change your mind , just be direct and precise “ thank you for the offer and the opportunity. I have accepted another offer that aligns my career goals better at this point, and unfortunately I will not be moving forward with <<insert firm name>>. My apologies. I truly enjoyed talking to the team and would’ve love to stay connected on future opportunities “
Something like that. Unless you expect them to match.
Call your recruiter and talk. Just like you would want your recruiter to call and give you a reason for every rejection (even though they don’t most of the time), you should talk over the phone first then an email to confirm your decision.
When I rescinded those accepted offers, sometimes I even talk to hiring manager 1:1 and I was very truthful to my decision , whether it’s money, title, career alignment, etc.
They appreciated that and also gave them data points on why people rescind.
I am in a similar situation. I accepted the offer and been working for 3 weeks. But got the offer from other company that I would like to work for. The problem is, my signing bonus is due in 4 days and I still need to go through the background check process and all, what would be the best course of action? Stay until the check is completed but eat out the tax portion of the signing bonus (since signing bonus has to be paid in full by gross amount) or resign now?
