A friend got second dose yesterday. No vomiting, but fever, chills, fatigue, sore throat. A sign the vaccine is working. Stay strong. Going for mine tomorrow, so will see if I’m so upbeat about it after that!
That’s your immune system kicking into action and recognizing & fighting the “threat.” It means the vaccine is working.

I think people just say nausea instead of vomiting because vomiting is viewed as TMI. You're likely not alone.

So when I got my second Pfizer dose, they gave me a list of symptoms that were considered normal/expected vs severe. Vomiting is considered severe and the guidance is to go to the hospital/speak to your doctor. You shouldn’t be vomiting from the vaccine, that’s not a normal immune response

Yes! I really hope they do! These aren’t typically side effects to just brush aside 😔

Moderna gave me chills and some nausea. Sounds fairly normal, but I’d call my doctor just to let them know.
My coworker vomited from the second moderna shot and had fever and bad chills the next day

So sorry to hear you had this reaction!! I hope you feel better soon!

Yikes, I am getting my 2nd next week. Did you have any reaction to the first shot?
Yeah my friend got the shot and the next day she was vomiting. Hope you feel better soon!
Did you have any symptoms from the first dose?
Nothing but a sore arm!
Thanks everyone! 🙂
