So I have an offer from both EY for Tech Consulting - Cybersecurity and Booz Allen Hamilton for Commercial Cyber Consultant.

While EY pays about 12k more, I’m concerned about my WLB. Booz Allen Hamilton seems great, but the slightly lower pay and smaller commercial practice makes me slightly concerned for my future career opportunities if I decide to leave.

I’ve been in my current role for less than a year and within my first 6 months multiple managers left as well as my hiring manager and multiple developers on a team I manage. I was kind of thrown to the wolves which is fine but recently another manager was just hired in the next pay grade who is walking into a much better position. Am I being underpaid? I earn £52.5k + £52.5k. Corporate AE (companies with 1000-5000 employees), 2 YOE as an AE, although I was an SDR for 2 years too (in my first year at current company). ACV roughly 50k. Quite complex sales cycles with a product that is hard to sell. 350k EUR quota. I’m a senior in undergrad and didn’t get any consulting offers during the fall recruiting cycle. Do any of you have advice for entering consulting post-grad, or do you know if any firms still recruit in the spring?

(Additional context: I have a back office offer at a good firm, but I really wanted to explore consulting for a more diverse skill set. Would it be difficult to transition to consulting after working here for a year or two? Would I be considered an experienced hire?)

As a current junior I received all big 4 offers: PWC and KPMG for this summer and Deloitte and EY for winter ‘22. I start work on June 13th however my winter internship offer deadlines are later this month in April. I would like to weigh my options and do internships for both this summer and winter ‘22. I have been told that I would likely receive a full time offer after this summer assuming it goes well. If I receive a full time offer I will have to accept it before winter ‘22. Need input
