So I heard a big name agency was hiring and reached out to literally every CD and recruiter I could find on LinkedIn. Today, an HR coordinator/recruiter there just got back to me to set up a phone call. Is this a for sure “we like your book and are considering you” or are some recruiters just nice enough to hear you out without any expressed interest?
The optimistic part of me says “nice job, they might want you”. The pessimistic part says “she’s just being nice”.

Had my 2nd interview with the hiring manager this past Friday & sent a thank you shortly after. It's now Tuesday (for those who see this on another day). At the end of the interview he said they've had other people who were interested but only one other person besides me were they considering. Said he would talk to his team and possibly have me fly out to meet in person. How long should I wait to follow up without seeming pushy? - Role: finance manager
- YOE: 5 years
- Comp: 270k aed/year + 5% bonus

I'm currently in a process for senior associate at a Big4. The process began on July, yet between the first and second interview it took like 3-4 weeks. And between the 2nd and 3rd like 7 weeks. I sent an email to HR during those weeks asking for an update and didn't have an answer. Then it a 3rd one was scheduled three times (the manager didn't connect to the first 2) and next week I have the last interview with 1 partner. Is the timing normal? Or were they looking for other candidates or what?

Expecting to hear if I got the job by Tuesday but have an interview the same day. How do I ask for time to think it over if I get an offer and how do I get the interview people to possibly speed it up so I can decide between the 2? I don't want to accept and then decline a few days later.. 😩
