I may be a horrible person but there’s no way I would share that we anyone at work.
Do not tell your team
Or better.... ask them a week later if they happen to have bed bugs. Because after the “incident”, you started noticing bed bugs. Problem solved.
I’m sorry to great that, I knew someone who picked them up at a hotel a couple of years ago. I wouldn’t tell your coworkers - they shouldn’t have spread through normal interaction, bedbugs are very lazy and often won’t move very far as long as their source (you) keeps coming back. Get a professional in to take care of it, buy high quality boxspring/mattress protectors, and don’t skip steps that the professional tells you to do.
Don’t share 😈
I would meet that information to myself
Why would you tell your team? It’s gross and they in turn will think you and the people you share your bed with are gross
When I was A2, my S1 had bedbugs because his roommate traveled so much, and he told the whole team. He gave us the play by play from the initial inspection all the way to the bed bug sniffing beagle, and it was pretty funny talking about it. But we were all pretty good work friends, and eventually we played a joke on him by putting fake bugs on his laptop (it was the partner's idea). I don’t really think anyone was worried about him spreading bed bugs...but I guess it depends on your team.
Don’t tell anyone
Just don’t sleep with anyone on your team in your bed. Problem solved....
And if you do sleep with someone on your team, tell them afterwards.
Disagree with Tax Staff 1. I don’t think that solves the “who can I pin the bed bugs on” problem. Also. The use of the word Pin was intended.
I found a bedbug in my apartment last year and had to go through the rigamarole. From what I remember, they wouldn't spread to your team except in an EXTRAORDINARY circumstance. You should be OK not disclosing.
Or just sleep at there house. This way you don’t spread it to them, you don’t have to have an awkward conversation and you get to sleep with them still. Problem solved.
