Hi, Its been 7 months since I joined Infosys as a Fresher. I'm still in probation period. I'm working on a tech which I have no interest. Considering these and bit of ctc, is it a wise move to join Accenture again as a Fresher (ASE role) leaving Infosys? Open to all kinds of suggestions. Infosys Accenture India

Ask them about practice, the firm and their experience. People love to talk about themselves. Just let him/her ramble on and you’ll get the job.

Thank them for the response first and foremost. Then ask for more details about the position to make sure you’re a fit. Finally ask them what the next steps would be to go forward with applying for the position.

Feel it out. After you thank them, they might roll straight to the good stuff. Let them lead if they take it, but be prepared to ask any unanswered questions you have at the end.
I would also suggest starting off with something personal. Related to where they live, how they/family are doing. Share something about your self as well. Puts both sides to ease and creates a more personal connection imo. That you care about them as a person and not just as a lead to a job opp. But it needs to be more than just small talk :)
Can I know what you put in the message? Not any specific but like ... An intro of yourself, how you saw the job, what you bring to the table, etc. I was thinking of doing the same
I kept it short and simple. I found a common ground either same school or former employee of my current company. Gave a sentence of my background and then mentioned the role I was interested in and if they’d be willing to talk about their experiences at the company and the role itself.
Thank them for their time and for responding. Acknowledge the situation, and try to connect with them as a person- ask them what they like about the company- anything they think is really special. Focus on their perspective.
@an Associate - do you mind sharing the “script” that you used to reach out to that person? I also would like to reach out to someone cold on LinkedIn, but do not know what to say%!
They likely love that you took initiative, so if keep that attitude, ask questions, and just in general act interested and proactive, you should be good
