So I was one of two final candidates for a position. I was not selected and was fine. What I do find issue was being told they loved me and still want to work with me. They referred me to one of their vendors - pay is 50k less and I would be working for the person I lost original position to. I am under the impression they do not realize how insulting they came off. AITA for saying below my salary expectations and not in line w/ career trajectory goals? Thanks but no thanks

Anyone knows why DI is delaying the onboarding for a bunch of folks selected through campus placement? Some of the hires started their their onboarding in Sept and are well settled in the system and recent update from HR is that for everyone still waiting to get a joining date needs to undergo some training and up skilling program for 12 weeks ( a reduced stipend will be paid along with 1st months salary). I had given Accenture interview on 5th March and on the same day got an email that I cleared the round then salary discussion also happened. But then they didn't release the offer. In the portal status went to " owing to business reasons we foresee some delay in processing your candidature". Also then after multiple followups got an update from HR that they don't have any requirements for the position. Now it's been more than a month what should I do ? February I have been on my job 28 years. The owners up and sold the business without a notice. I am salary and have always received my salary on vacation week plus vacation pay. New owners said that’s the stupidest thing they ever heard and it will no longer be received. I’m exhausted giving a job this many years and feeling I now have to start all over. A great opportunity with a top brand has come up. I have not actively looked to make a move, but this role and brand looks really promising with a greater earning potential. Down side is I would need to relocate which I do not want to do and would be a challenge for my wife’s job .
