[query] Is it a good idea to say a firm No due to medical reasons to a new night shift project I'm hired in?Accenture
I recently got a night shift project (2 days ago) that requires me to work from 10:30pm till 7:30am
I'm not comfortable with these timings and I'm thinking to ask my manager to put me on Bench (Due to medical reasons that involve mental health)
Is it a nice idea to say a firm No to a new project I'm hardlocked into, due to night shifts?

EYP experience will be much better than Deloitte. (I worked at Deloitte as a strategy analyst right out of undergrad) - in terms of location, negotiate with EYP to place you in NYC.
Comp and trajectory better at EYP, wlb - some of my peers at D had it super chill but that wasn’t my experience
Negotiate your home base with EY. Comp may shift, but totally worth the ask.
What these people said. While Boston is the EYP hub, massive presence in NYC. I think that is an easy negotiation honestly and let them know you’re already in NYC and have established a network there. The new way of working basically let’s you live anywhere as long as an airport is nearby. Comp, projects, and exits will be better with EYP, but can’t say the same for WLB currently. We’re maxed out on staff but also hiring at a high rate so that should shift future state

Definitely go back to EYP and say you prefer EYP 100% but inclined to stay in NYC because of family and relationship (it’s okay to lie a little you won’t be a bad person) and that’s the dealbreaker for you
