I’ve had three interviews for an internal position over a period of about 6 weeks The last was over a week ago. And I can’t get the HR rep to even return an email or a TEAMS chat as to a ballpark when a decision may be made. VERY frustrating. Even just a “we will be making a decision soon”. Or whatever would be nice. I feel disrespected.

For companies that use platforms like Greenhouse to gather recruiting feedback, what do you do with the data? If you receive a negative from a candidate, do you black flag the candidate for future interviews?

I really enjoy the people I work with and the company seems to really support its employees, however it is in a field that doesnt exactly align with what I would like to be doing. The interview process is so damn easy - A medium level Hackerrank test, interview with company CTO and then behavioural round with a McKinsey Director and offer extended.

I interviewed with Citi 3 weeks ago (London) and haven’t heard back since. I felt the interview went well. Interviewer told me that I will hear back in a couple of weeks as the entire floor is hiring at the moment and HR is swamped. She said it in such a positive tone/way as well. I emailed HR last week and have not heard back. Is this normal? The wait is gruesome. Not sure if I’ve just been ghosted or if this is normal.

For non-tech roles, is getting your resume pst screening really the hardest part? I’m being led to believe that once they pass along my resume to the hiring manager, they’re unlikely not to put you into loop, and unless you bomb the loop by not preparing, you have a very high likelihood of an offer. Is that really true? Is getting your resume past the auto-rejection the biggest hurdle for non-tech applicants?

1. Applied for 2posts. Said Under Consideration for one but was interviewed for a different role. Is this normal?

Just reached final on-site round for a Senior Manager position in the logistics department. Role is for Amazon UK. Recruiter is asking me now for my expected compensation (base salary + total comp) via email. Any idea what to aim for?

I don’t know the level but was aiming £80k base, +15% bonus. If I don’t fall under their budget, would I automatically be removed from candidates?
