So I'm currently a Land Development Superintendent but doing the work of a land development manager. My manager refers me as a "Manager" but still tells me that I'm "in training" but hardly rely on him. He currently doesn't train me, I hardly ask for his help unless I really need it. The problem here is that I haven't given the official title nor the salary I'm being underpaid and overworked for the scope of work for my title. Can anyone help me on how to handle this situation?

Hi Fishes, I've got offers from BNY Mellon and Siemens and I'm confused about which organization to join.
BNY is offering me 26LPA (they don't have a variable component, instead they have a bonus component that is not fixed) and QA Lead position and Siemens is offering me 29LPA (total CTC is going 32.8LPA including variables) fixed and the position is Senior Test Engineer.
Please suggest which company will be better to join?

Over the last three years my mfg company has had a lot of people leave and each time I take on the extra responsibility - from admin, payroll, benefits, compliance, safety, inventory and shipping. I literally do it all. And not only that, but I’ve eliminated and optimized a lot of wasteful processes in order to get it all done. I thought that it would all come with eventual pay increases since it saves the company over 300k in overhead. This whole time I should have been OE. I feel like a fool.

Hello All, Office Sup. for a major hospital, w/ 15 years experience. I have lots of experience in every position in the office, especially in training. Happy Wednesday!!!!

I’m currently a Recruitment Consultant at an RPO with 4.5 YOE in Toronto. I received a salary raise last year. Recently I had another conversation with my manager for a comp raise. They was able to speak with their higher ups. Unfortunately, I got to know that they wouldn’t be able to increase my pay because of the economy. I’ve been working on heavy req loads and multi projects. But they are signing me up for a leadership program with a potential raise next year. Thoughts?

3 years ago I asked for a compensation review/raise, went through what felt like a ridiculous 8 MONTH long process of defending why it was warranted, only to be told no. 3 months ago I asked again and it has gone nowhere. I should add that salary bands are kept secret and I have no clue what the range for my position is. There are a decent amount of benefits in my position, the biggest being WLB, which is what has kept me here for so long. But I’m getting frustrated. What would you do?

I just received an offer on a job I would really like to accept. The salary offer is about 25% higher than my current salary, which I am happy about, but is also the low $ on the range I had expressed to the recruiter and the exact $ that I put on the online application (I had to put a $ figure). Am I being greedy trying to negotiate for a bit higher? Do they expect me to counter? I have been burned by NOT negotiating in the past but who can be mad at a 25% increase??
