Any fish familiar with the PWC payor/provider group? Specifically typical type of projects, team culture and size, and if I should apply or run for the hills? Career long Healthcare consultant here who's dabbled in Healthcare IT, provider operations, and provider strategy.
Now that the CDC says no masks needed indoors if vaccinated, is anybody concerned what that means for kids under 12? I’m assuming that the honor system isn’t entirely going to work (I.e., some unvaccinated people will go maskless). I don’t want my 5 and 7 year olds around unvaccinated unmasked strangers, but it’s also a bummer to stop taking them places. Not that I was taking them that many places, but the occasional grocery store, shoe store, etc. seems riskier now.
Has Anyone had any experience with training therapy animals to enhance the classroom experience? If so, what advice can you give about your experiences? Thanks so much!
I am shy about saying I am up for promotion. It is really important to say this. Anyone else have this problem?
If you are a generalist and not technical, how do you answer in an interview when someone asks about your areas of expertise?
Caribbean vacation ideas with a few friends? Something different than Atlantis. Would like the option for water sports - sailing, jet skiing, and obviously a beautiful beach. Thanks!
Anyone know much about MRM? NY or SLC.
Pros/Cons of getting your MBA sponsored and returning other than the obvious “have to pay for it myself” vs “have to come back for 2 years and lose the pivot momentum”?
Interviewed with Google back in 2019, did not prepare much and did not pass phone screen; Interviewed again this year and prepared heck a lot but did not pass hiring committee; Does HC have access to my phone interview records in 2019?
0 for 2 on final rd interviews as of late. Appreciating it’s a hyper competitive recruiting environment now…when is there cause for concern? (0 out of x…)
Had a 3rd round interview with PwC (Partner) and they said they would either want to have another interview with a team member or will “move forward with next steps”. This was last week and recruiter hasn’t gotten back to me yet. Manager position. What does this mean? Bad news? Trying to not be disappointed yet 😭
Looking for input on a career decision. Me: 9 YOE, homegrown manager who is currently doing a stop in industry. I have an offer to return to consulting (M&A). My end game is pure strategy. Do I take the offer or wait for the opportunity to interview for pure strategy? My take is it’s more difficult to lateral the more senior you are in your career.
Ex-kpmg employee here so can’t post in that bowl but does anyone here know how pension plan works? I was vested based on time with firm but does the money stay there til retirement or can you request lump sum payout and invest it how you want? Thanks!
Any ideas for healthy family meals that a (relatively) picky child will eat and that are also easy/quick to prepare? I need inspiration; I want to quit my bad habit of swinging through a drive-thru on my way from from work.
When you’re negotiating for an industry job, do you negotiate with recruiter or directly with hiring manager? Also, do you negotiate over phone or email?
Any apple interviewing tips?
If I apply to a position on StaffIt, does the person who posted it get an automated notification? Or does it have to flow through my Resource Manager?
Turning 30 and just feel like I’m getting dumber. I am a smart person (at least relatively) and work at MBB but lately I just feel as though I have not been as sharp as I normally am. I spent the last week drinking and going out till 3am every night (NYC) so that doesn’t help but are there any tips to regain my form and just become smarter?
Has anyone transitioned or know if people that have transitioned to a recruiting position? How did they like it compared to PA and what is the salary like compared to PA?
