I would. I really don't understand all the judgement that parents of babies and kids get on flights. It's unfair.
Yea just do it. Like you said, you paid for the flight. Besides a 2-month old will sleep through most of the flight
We’ll be doing that, but in business class. There’s a bassinet up there that will be great. I asked this question a few months ago and all responses then were also generally “go for it”.
I’ve seen a lot of babies in business recently.
I have done it and would do it again. Hell, I had my 8 month old cry an entire 4 hour flight in first. I only kind of felt bad. I was doing all I could to make him happier but sometimes nothing works.
If you’re breastfeeding, you’ll be more than grateful for the extra room and some more “privacy”.
Done it! And would do it again! The extra room is great and needed if you have bottles
Thank you, ladies!!
Flew with my the. 3 month old last month in first. I got one comment “man this baby flies better than i do!” From a passerby. Do it, you deserve if
Yes. People can complain and be assholes, but they paid (most probably got upgraded) for a bigger seat, more space and better service. They did not pay for a baby-free area.
I am considering flying business with a 6 month old...12 hr flight 🤷🏼♀️ just do it!
Fly in first, you deserve to be comfortable
Yes, flew with my 7 week old in first class and then again when he was 5 months. It is not like being in first class provides a sound barrier or something. Also, my guy would just fall asleep anyways and it was nice for me to have all that room.
Absolutely go for the first class seat!!! If you can afford it, the extra room will be well worth it
Do it
Absolutely would. I think people see baby on a plane and internally cringe because they just assume baby will cry the whole time (not true btw) but do what’s comfortable/ convenient for you mama
I flew my 3 month old in first class on a 5 hour flight. He was an easy baby and slept almost the entire flight with the exception of less than 1 minute of crying as I prepared his bottle. We got a standing ovation from passengers as we were waiting on the jetway for our stroller on both flights. Can’t say everyone is this lucky
Done this multiple times! And according to my husband who flies to China semi regularly it is apparently now quite common for people to bring their 3 month olds in business for those 14 hour trans Pacific flights.
My husband did it on a short flight. He got an insane number of judgmental comments (e.g., flight attendants saying “tell the pilots there is a BABY in first class!". But f them. You gotta do what works for you!
Do you. We did it with twins on a 12 hour flight at 4 months old. Honestly people were fine and I think people are doing it more and more just because economy has become so awful.
