I received an offer from PWC India with CTC 9.5L my current is 5.5L. I have another offer in pipeline from concentrix with 11L. Will PWC match my counter offer? Looking at two identical condos, each 1900 sq ft, however one is a duplex up and the other is a straight condo. My preference is to go for the one that doesn’t have a split level as it means the space is (or appears) relatively larger. However, the duplex up is going for quite a bit more so was curious which would appraise better and which would be preferred by most buyers since I plan to sell the unit in 5-6 years?

Traveled with a girl friend I’ve only been friends with for a year and she got super intoxicated and started grabbing men’s butts at a bar. I told her to stop and she said “now they know how it feels”. The tipping point was when she grabbed a guy who was with his girlfriend and they almost had a fight. I told her she was being illogical because she’s literally sexually harassing men and it wasn’t cool.

I was hosting a pretty high level (1 or 2 level below c suite) meeting with a European client and they asked me “oh isn’t today a bank holiday you guys are working today?”.

And, while very obviously working I replied “well we aren’t a bank”. My manager was shocked for like 5 seconds and repeated what I said. Am I in trouble?

I got laid off very recently. The workload ran dry many months ago and have asked for more work constantly. I’d either get something that’d last a day or two or nothing. When I was in my final meeting, the Partner who hired me (He’s a tax/HR partner) said that besides the really light workload, I made some mistakes on entries.
