Haven't had it happen with my house, but I do get annoyed when others hint at my points being extremely disposable. My family hinting at it for gifts, friends hinting on it as being an automatic reason to agree to a trip.
Maybe it's just my low-class upbringing, but I treat my points as a currency like my cash and want to be picky with how I use them.

Agree that points are equivalent to cash. If 50k points can buy me a $500 flight (or whatever the number might be), then I’m gonna spend the points just as carefully as I would spend that $500. Thinking about it any other way feels like poor logic to me
I wouldn’t mind for people to use my house
Home is weird. As for points some people may care less but you’ve basically earned them as part of your job so it’s natural to feel annoyed if your family/friends try to claim it for themselves.
I’m happy I’m not the one one that gets annoyed with it. First of its not classy. Second of all - I find it kinda insulting that ppl will go out of their way to wanna come visit my area to use my house while I’m not there. Like literally using me. Some ppl have a bit more class about it and at least try to make it sound like they wanna visit you.
I got it! Entourage: Consultant Edition.
