Long one - one of my best friends (10+ years) and I had a drink last week, I told her of my recent ADHD diagnosis and how we had noticed the generational trend (my mum & grandad as very similar symptoms wise and they acknowledge this, but not diagnosed). The friend mentioned her therapist has suggested she may had ADHD (inattentive type) - she then told me a few things like how she's absolutely neurotypical and she's never associated herself with neurodiversity etc, she made a ... I learned a new term. Decision Fatigue, definition below.

How do you handle it as a teacher? Do you experience decision fatigue?

Decision fatigue is caused by being forced to make too many decisions over a fixed period of time.

I am retired and enjoying subbing part time. Wondering if there are any others that have finally found their dream job in retirement.

I took the role I am in about a year ago and it just has not been what was promised and a huge step back. I have found a good place and am content but not overly happy with my place in the company. A smaller competitor reached out for a vp position that is a huge step up responsibility wise. There would be a pay raise but not huge so money is not the motivator here. Is this crazy to seriously consider? I hate to burn bridges. I have been told I am on the partner fast track. Thoughts? Advice?
