A startup perhaps? Iām at one now and we had an receptionist help out with configs when we were in crunch mode. Would be in a much better place to lateral into an ops role if she wanted after that. Apart from that you have boot camps or starting a music school.

First, she has to decide what she wants. If she canāt speak with passion and conviction about what she wants to do, itās going to be very difficult to break into something new. As someone who has made all sorts of weird career jumps, the best way is to seek out what you, want, be passionate about doing it, network like hell, and be incredibly persistent, patient, and resilient.
